Good Circulation Stimulates Hair Growth Improving the flow of blood to your scalp is one of the most powerful cures for baldness. Your blood flow carries nutrients to your roots in order to feed your strands. If there is a problem with circulation, or if the flow of blood to the scalp is compromised in any way, protein and vitamins can’t reach the strands. The follicles will then become weak and the strands will fall out.
You can increase blood flow to your head by massaging your scalp for about 10 minutes daily. This will also help clear out dirt, dandruff, and other debris which can clog the follicles and prevent the nutrients from reaching the roots.
Hair Loss Treatments and Balding
Certain Herbs are Natural Cures for Baldness Certain herbs can be effective natural cures for baldness for people who have androgenic alopecia, which is also known as female or male pattern baldness. This type of hair loss is caused by the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Men tend to have higher levels of this hormone in their bodies, but women have it too. DHT attacks the follicles causing the strands to fall out.
Saw palmetto reduces the amount of DHT in the body. Pumpkin seeds also help eliminate this follicle damaging hormone. The mineral zinc prevents testosterone from being converted into DHT. Green tea is gaining recognition as being among the effective herbal cures for baldness because it contains compounds which stimulate hair growth.
It’s very important for you to begin treatment for your hair loss as soon as you notice that your strands are thinning. This will significantly increase your chances of getting your strands to grow back. If the follicles sit there for too long without strands, the follicles will lose their ability to function and the hair loss will become permanent. Unlike that other poster, I'm not a rep of any website. My brother used rogaine and it messed up his heart rhythem so please don't use that. Do you have any thyroid issues? That can cause hair loss. So can aspartame. I used to drink diet sodas and my hair was falling out. My nurse practitioner told me to quit doing that and a whole lot of things got better. Aspartame is a poison no matter what the mainstream health models tell you. A website that I won't go without is http://www.EARTHCLINIC.COM Go there and click on ailments, then click on H, scroll down and there's hair loss. That’s the link for the exact page you want. I think Ted's remedies are the best for other things I've tried. I had non-specific colitis (sort of like Crohn's disease) and recurrent pancreatitis and cured both from suggestions on that site. My hubby got off his blood pressure meds and has healthy bp now from stuff on that site as well. Go with an open mind, especially if you've always relied heavily on western medicine. We’re the healthiest we've ever been from using natural cures. I hope it works for you and good luck. There's a LOT of good info about hair loss and there's nothing too weird in my opinion.

There are several treatment options that may help to stimulate and encourage hair growth. If hair loss occurs as a result of an underlying condition or disease, then the condition needs to be treated first. The various types of hair loss are treated with specific medication which includes antibiotics, corticosteroids, or steroid injections. For more serious episodes of hair loss, surgical procedures such as hair transplants, scalp reduction or skin grafts may be performed to replace hair loss. Natural and holistic therapy offers a gentler alternative for people experiencing hair loss than the harsh effects of conventional medication. Treatments such as herbal and homeopathic remedies stimulate and encourage hair growth as well as support blood circulation, hormonal balance and thyroid functioning. Herbal remedies along with good nutritional diet (supplements in case of severe deficiency or if directed by your doctor) help hair grow stronger and more plentifully by nourishing it at the roots. They achieve this by stimulating blood flow and supplying nutrients to the hair follicles and hence promoting healthy hair growth and slowing down excessive hair loss. Although the process begins within a few days, as the hair grow slowly, the results are visible only after a few months. Herbs commonly used include Ginkgo biloba, Rosmarinus officinale and Xanthoxylum clavaherculis help to promote strong, abundant hair. Other powerful herbs such as Equisetum arvense, Avena sativa and Echinacea are effective combating hair loss and nourishing hair follicles. You may get more info here

You really need to ascertain what type of hair loss you have. Is it male pattern baldness or one of the other alopecias. If you’re balding in a male pattern baldness type of way then it’s doubtful that any of what you mention will have any real effect as blood flow is not majorly implicated as an underlying cause. Plus you really shouldn’t use those unless approved by a medical doctor, especially since you say you have had many side effects. DHT (a testosterone metabolite) and it's enzyme responsible for its production 5-alpha reductase are implicated in male pattern baldness more so. In which case you could try massaging pumpkin seed oil (an inhibitor of these) into your scalp either neat or diluted in a little olive oil or jojoba oil. Perhaps more to the point, accept balding gracefully, as it’s quite natural. You could always shave your head or get a very short hair cut as it’s trendy to do so. Thanks..
